Wide Angle view of Macular Pucker Surgery, 25 gauge vitrectomy system
This 66 year old man lost vision from a vitreous hemorrhage 1 year ago. He had surgery for that and subsequently developed a dense macular pucker. This video shows the removal of the macular pucker. Since the pucker had an elevated edge, was large, and the patient had a cataract, the surgery is done through a wide angle viewing system. The video is a little hazy because the view of the retina is obsured some by the patients cataract.
